Codename: Outbreak is a first person shooter set in the near future. Human astronomers are tracking a class C comet and discover that the comet is on a course that will bring it very close to Earth. Panic among the pitiful Earthlings ensues as the comet skims the atmosphere and rains meteorites down upon the Earth. The humans soon discover that the meteorites are not just lifeless rock, but packed full with alien spores.
The game features modifiable weapons that allow you to change your arsenal on the fly. It also includes controllable allies and teammates that will help you through your missions.
